THE 10-MINUTE RULE
Seats for advance ticket and pass holders are held until 10 minutes before showtime, when any unfilled seats are released to the public. Thus, advance tickets or passes ensure that you will not have to wait in the ticket purchase line but do not guarantee a seat in the case of arrival after the 10-minute window has begun. Your early arrival also helps get screenings started promptly. We appreciate your understanding. Advance ticket holders who arrive within the 10-minute window but are not seated may exchange their tickets for another screening at the Ticket Outlet or obtain a cash refund at the theater. There are no refunds or exchanges for late arrivals or for missed screenings.

Welcome to the 17th annual Portland Jewish Film Festival, presented by the Northwest Film Center and the Institute for Judaic Studies. We hope you find that this year's films, while they express specific Jewish experiences, resonate beyond their cultural settings and speak to experiences and issues that confront our common humanity.

This year's Festival is co-sponsored by the JEWISH REVIEW with individual program support from Cedar-Sinai, Neveh Shalom, Mittleman Jewish Community Center, Portland Jewish Academy, Aspen Mitzvah, Jerry and Helen Stern, Jim Winkler and Diane Solomon.

ALL SHOWS ARE SINGLE ADMISSION.

The Film Center is pleased to present a retrospective of the innovative film and puppetry work of the legendary Jim Henson (1936-1990), creator of the lovable Muppets and a host of other characters that have been childhood icons and grown-up delights for decades. The retrospective presents a treasure trove of Henson’s extraordinarily imaginative work, including TV pilots, shorts, commercials, promotional films, and feature films. For Muppet fans interested in a more in-depth exploration of Henson's world of fantasy, "Muppet History 101" and "Commercials and Experiments" offer a chance to view rare footage unlikely to be seen anywhere else.

This series is produced by The Jim Henson Legacy and Brooklyn Academy of Music. Tour Executive Producer Irena Kovarova. Film and program notes courtesy of the Jim Henson Legacy.
