CAMP: Digital Moviemaking for 4th-6th #31

    Grades 4-6

Have fun with creative storytelling styles and techniques.

Try your hand at live-action directing, shooting, and editing. Learn how filmmakers use camera angles, lighting, sound, and editing to tell stories and how film crews work together to make movies. You’ll create your own storylines in small groups, experimenting with different styles and visual storytelling techniques, and working both behind and in front of the camera. We'll make props and costumes, and draw on the magic of iPad technology and green screen backgrounds to transport the characters to vast universes. You'll be able to keep on making your own films on an iPhone or iPad once the class is over.  The class will culminate in a family screening, complete with popcorn. Completed films will be compiled and uploaded to a special class online video album.  Tuition includes all equipment and supplies.
